Casa 45 is an intervention and restoration of architect Henry Ponce in the historic center of Merida, Yucatan. With a perfect location, only two blocks from Paseo de Montejo, in a quiet street and with very little traffic and good orientation.
In this house, architect Henry Ponce achieves maximum use of space, becoming prominent the multicolored walls based on pasta tile floors, construction in two levels. The ground floor has a main hall with desk and bookcase, storage room and guests bathroom, indoor garden with double height that allows adequate ventilation and passage of natural light, living room, dining room, very well equipped kitchen which also has a granite covered bar, the garden has a spectacular Ramón tree allowing superb views, pool with fountain, outdoor shower, and low maintenance garden, plus a laundry room and machines room.
On the second level are the two main rooms connected by a bridge to give them privacy. One of the bedrooms has a terrace that also communicates with the garden and pool, through a staircase, the other bedroom has an additional resting area.
